Let’s Face It… Crosby is riding one amazing point streak…25 games!
Let’s Face It… Byfuglien has one crazy hard shot, yikes.
Let’s Face It… You know who else has a hard shot? Pascal Dupuis! Ouch!
Let’s Face It… The Pens were the slower team in the first period and carried over many of their defensive breakdowns from the Ottawa game.
Let’s Face It… The Pens are just taking too many penalties lately. They lead the league in this category, and while their PK is tops in the NHL, it’s not a good idea to keep this up.
Let’s Face It… The second and third were all Pens…just a great display.
Let’s Face It… The shorthanded goal and the tally to start the 3rd really sunk Atlanta. They are a bubble team right now, but they are no slouch.
Let’s Face It… Letestu’s goal was nothing but pure will. Simply beautiful.
Let’s Face It… Fleury has been the definition of great and consistent over the past 2 months.
Let’s Face It… Crosby is a monster. Geno could use some goals. Cooke could use a break. Letang is becoming something special (or is he already?). Gogo is weak on the boards. The PK is great, but the PP is not. The “Buzz Line” is fun to watch at times. The defensive breakdowns need to stop, and quick.
Let’s Face It… When Staal comes back, deciding who sits or goes is not going to be easy. Right now, I’m actually leaning towards Rupp or Asham. I like the third line, and hope to see Jordan on the 2nd line, so swapping Tablot and Cooke between 2nd and 4th line roles alongside Geno and Staal will do just fine.
Let’s Face It… Staal needs to sit out the Winter Classic. These are NOT ideal conditions for a player to come back from TWO injuries to play in for the first game.
