According to Shelly Anderson of PG+, the Pittsburgh Penguins have announced that Sidney Crosby will address the media regarding his concussion recovery Wednesday.

Crosby, who has been out of action since early January after suffering at least one concussion, has been training all summer, though reports have circulated that he may not be ready for training camp later this month.

According to Anderson, the media scrum is set for 12:30 tomorrow, though she is unaware of how detailed or informative he will be with regard to his recovery.


Darren Dreger reported the following via Twitter: “Crosby has been skating regularly. Presser tomorrow will include doctors and Pen GM Ray Shero. Expected to discuss Crosby’s camp status.”

Bob McKenzie, also via Twitter, added: As per @DarrenDreger, Crosby’sbeen skating. Will skate tomorrow in PIT, do the newser, go to NYC on Thursday and be back skating Fri in PIT.”
