Career Projection |
| Andy Bathgate, the grandson of
former Penguins great.. Andy Bathgate, was selected by the
Penguins in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. During that 08-09
season, with the OHL’s Belleville Bulls, Bathgate was mostly
overpowered by stronger opposing players, and he toiled
there on the third line. With most of the veterans
graduating from the junior ranks, Bathgate’s role moved up
and his frame started to fill out and get larger. At the
46-game mark this season, Bathgate has almost already
doubled his total point production (11+16=27) from last
seasons (4+12=16). The young center is a work in progress
and anything could happen down the road, as he still has a
long journey ahead of him. |
