Career Projection |
|
Two years ago, the undrafted Haddad was invited to prospect
camp by the Pittsburgh Penguins. He impressed the staff so
much, that he received an invite to the main training camp.
After signing a three-year entry level deal with the Pens,
he was returned to juniors, where he would go on to score 55
points (30 goals, 25 assists) in 50 games with the Cape
Breton Screaming Eagles. This season, Haddad began his
professional career with the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL) where
he played top-6 minutes and produced 20 points (7 goals, 13
assists) in 34 games. In his third call-up stint to the AHL
with Wilkes-Barre, he opened the eyes of the coaching staff,
with his hard shooting ability. Next season, he will most
likely play third line minutes for the Baby Pens in his
continued development. |
