Kuhnhackl carries team into semi-finals
Tom Kuhnhackl has been clutch for Windsor all season but he took it to an all new level last night in their playoff Game 7 against the Erie Otters.
Kuhnhackl scored 2G and 1A including the game winning goal with 2:48 left in regulation.
Windsor had taken a 4-2 lead in the third period but Erie battled back and tied the score at 4-4 with about 12 minutes left.
Then Kuhnhackl drove the net, caused traffic in front of Erie goaltender Ramis Sadikov, and grabbed a rebound and guided it just over the line for the game winning goal.
Kuhnhackl now has 5G 6A 11P in 7GP – most of those coming in Games 5, 6, and 7.
Windsor will now move on to face Pittsburgh native Brandon Saad and his Saginaw Spirit in the semi-finals.

Highly recommend you watch the video to see Kuhnhackl’s hands around the net. Both were handsy plays with a bouncing puck around the goal.
