Tom Kuhnhackl is set to return to the lineup for the Windsor Spitfires tonight.

Kuhnhackl has missed five weeks with an MCL sprain.

As stated when the injury first occurred here, Kuhnhackl’s injury could have sidelined him anywhere from 1-6 months.

He will be coming in on the low end of that spectrum at 5 weeks and has been cleared to play tonight against the Kingston Frontenacs – a weak team with a record of (1-10-1-1).

One of the most promising Penguin prospects, Kunhackl was expected to light the OHL on fire this season. In his first game after being cut from NHL training camp, he injured his knee.
