Defensemen Joe Morrow and Scott Harrington were named to the 2011 SUBWAY® Super Series rosters for the WHL and OHL respectively.

Each Canadian Junior League will play two games against the Russian National Junior Team for a total of 6 games.

Morrow will be representing the WHL for their game on Nov. 16. He will not play in the other WHL game.

Harrington will also be participating in one of the two games for the OHL team. He will play Nov. 10.

Simon Despres was the only Penguin selection this tournament last season and he went on to play for Team Canada at the World Junior Championship in December.

Perhaps Morrow or Harrington will impress their way onto that squad as well.

Forward Tom Kuhnhackl may have earned himself an invitation to this tournament had he not suffered an injury on Sept. 23. Kuhnhackl will be playing in the World Junior Championship come December for Team Germany.

However, Germany got demoted to Division 1 for the tournament and will not be competing for a medal so he may choose to stay with his OHL team.
