Summary
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins fall to the Albany River Rats, 3-2 despite outshooting their opponents by a 35 to 20 margin.

Not much to say about this game, except that Albany goaltender Justin Peters stole the show. He was honored with the first star of the game.

It seems as if Luca Caputi and Mark Letestu are showing up on the scoresheet more regularly. They both added assists.

Chris Minard was held scoreless. Tonight was the first road game of the season where he didn’t record a point. He had 3 shots on goal.

Ryan Stone hit Dwight Helminen hard last night, and appeared to be injured. Jonathan Bombulie of the Penguins Insider reports that Stone did not suffer any serious injuries.

Jean-Philippe Cote dropped the gloves with Nicolas Blanchard.

Adam Berkhoel suffered the loss. He stopped 17 of the 20 shots faced.

The Pens take on the Houston Aeros, tonight at 7:05 from the Wachovia Arena.
