|Inside The Game|
|The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins take on the East Division foes,
the Binghamton Senators, who have 1 point on the Pens in the standings.
In last night’s game, the Penguins routed Syracuse 6-0. Nick Johnson returned from injury and scored two goals and one assist in only the first period of play. Johnson has uncanny chemistry with center Mark Letestu, and Dustin Jeffrey who is now being groomed as a winger will flank the left side of their second line.
Goalie Adam Berkhoel also returned from injury, and posted a shutout stopping all 25 shots faced.
In between the pipes for the Sens will be former Wilkes-Barre/Scranton legend Andy Chiodo.
Early in the season, the Pens have only played Binghamton once so far. In this contest, they defeated the B-Sens easily, via a 6-3 final score.
As evidenced by the injury report below, the Penguins are missing a few key players and are lucky enough to have some good depth.
