Summary
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins dominated their first game back from the AHL All-Star break.

The three players who I described as slumping in the game preview – Chris Conner, Wyatt Smith, and Nate Guenin all scored goals.

Jesse Boulerice tallied up 19 penalty minutes on one shift in the second period. Jon Mirasty of the Crunch asked him to fight numerous times, and after he layed two borderline hits on Ben Lovejoy and Zach Sill, Boulerice had had enough and handled him in a spirited fight.

Eric Tangradi did not get on the scoresheet, and was a -1, but he layed a few big hits on the Syracuse defenders. Luca Caputi posted three assists.

Brad Thiessen was solid in between the pipes tonight, picking up his second career AHL win.

The next game is tomorrow against Rochester at 7:05.
