Summary
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have made the post-season for the eight consecutive year, with a big win at home tonight over the River Rats.

Eric Tangradi is becoming known as "the big dog" as his development continues due to his large frame and willingness to bang in front of the net.

To open the game, Tim Wallace buried his 27th goal on the year. Tangradi followed by putting in a rebound off of a Steve Wagner point shot.

His second goal of the game came when Ben Lovejoy carried the puck into the zone, got it to the net, and Tangradi tapped it in out of mid air.

Wyatt Smith was credited with the game winning goal, after Tim Conboy put the puck into his own net by accident.

The Baby Pens play their final two regular season games tonight, and tomorrow both against Binghamton. If the Pens finish in the 3rd hole, they will match-up against Albany in the first round of the playoffs. If they slide into the 4th spot, they will face the Hershey Bears. Meaning, that these last two games will be considered must-wins.
