Inside The Game

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are in Albany to play their first game of the post-season tonight against the River Rats.

The Pens have handled the Rats in the regular season this year, going 6-1-1.

But, Albany is receiving some talented guys from the Carolina Hurricanes including Zack Boychuk, Rodney Bowman, Brian Rodney, Casey Borer, Jerome Samson, Jamie McBain, and Jay Harrison.

"Big Dog" Eric Tangradi is back with the AHL team and ready for a big playoff run. He shared a funny story with everyone on his Twitter page today:

So a story I’m sure all of you would enjoy hearing…...Today at practice I had teammates barking at me and yelling "Big Dog"....... It turns out I skated through practice with a piece of tape on the front of my helmet that read none other than "BIG DOG"! tough morning. And obviously I didn’t find this out until 30 minutes had passed….. you never fly under the radar when your a rookie…..HAHAH
