Playoff Game 1:Predators 4 vs. Ducks 1

Predators lead the series 1-0.

Quick Recap

As the Predators make their sixth playoff appearance in seven years, Coach Barry Trotz and the team take to the ice in Anaheim.

High scorer Corey Perry dropped the gloves with Kevin Klein in the third period of Nashville’s victory in game one.

It all started with a power play goal at 4:16 in the first and only looked up for the Preds from there.

The Ducks don’t make an appearance on the scoreboard until a 5 on 3 chance halfway through the third gets it behind Pekka Rinne.

The game ends up with Jarkko Ruutu and George Parros for the Ducks both taking 10 minute misconducts and the lead which started early on in the game telling the victor.

The teams will face-off again, Anaheim having one more chance to make use of that home ice advantage on Friday at 10:30 p.m.
