In the series opener in Vancouver, one goal dead in the middle of regulation was all that was needed for the Canucks to take a one game lead.
Chris Higgins scored on Pekke Rinne in Nashville’s first ever round two match up.
Strong goal tending from both Rinnie and Roberto Luongo kept it a low scoring game, sending on to game 2.

Quick Recap
After a scoreless first period, Vancouver opened the second period with a bang scoring short handed on a hooking penalty to Christian Ehrhoff.
Pekka Rinne, who would end the night with a .97 save percentage, only let in that one goal to help Nashville tie up the series.
It was a clutch wrist shot from Ryan Suter with a minute and seven seconds to go in regulation which tied the game and sent game two into an eventual double overtime.
After an intense first overtime period, the score remained tied at one sending the game into doubles.
Matt Halischuk scored his second goal of the playoffs for the game winner, marking the Predator’s first ever round two game win and sending the series back to Nashville for games 3 and 4.
Game 3 will be Tuesday at 9 p.m.
