Fantasy Crystal Ball

Does it always seem like you reacted too late to grab the hottest player off the wavier wire? Is someone always beating you to it? If so, take a look into the hazy crystal ball with us at five players to consider this week.
Forwards
We like some young guns up front as possible pick ups. Here is nice line to consider.
Robert Nilsson (LW), the former number one pick may be coming into his own in Edmonton. He is getting second line minutes and is playing on a exciting young line with Andrew Cogliano and Sam Gagner. This young line may start to click and Nilsson may lead the way in scoring in the next few weeks and his readily available in most yahoo leagues with only 4% ownership.
Guillaume Latendresse (RW) is part of a deep and talented Montreal Canadians club. He is playing on the second line most nights with Saku Koivu and Alex Tanguay. He is young, fast and plays an all around game. He may not give you a lot of PPP, but he will fill the stat sheet across the board. If you have a RW who is underperforming or hurt Latendresse may be worth a
long look since he is only owned in 15% of yahoo leagues.
Stephen Weiss (Center) may be the best offensive performer on weak Florida Panthers team. Although he has never quite lived up to being a 4th overall pick, now may be his time. As the first line center he will get his PP time. Look for some nice numbers there. If your third center is letting you down Weiss is out there in 90% of yahoo leagues.
Defensemen
On defense a few vets look interesting to us. How about these two?
Mike Komisarek (D) does not fill up the stat sheet in the traditional
manner, but his stay at home style with a strong Montreal team will lead to a good +/- and he has never been shy about coming to the aid of his teammates so look for a few penalty minutes along the way. Komisarek is +6 on the young season with 18 penalty minutes. Playing in Montreal, a strong 5 on 5 team may keep that +6 growing and he had over 100 penalty minutes last year. He is on the market with only 14% ownership on yahoo.
Mattias Ohlund (D) may have gotten overlooked this year after only playing in 53 games last year, but the veteran Vancouver defensemen is off to a nice start with 1G, 2 A, and +1. He makes a nice extra defensemen, especially if someone on your backline goes down. He is currently owned in 36% of yahoo leagues.
Goaltender
If you didn’t buy the Marty Biron hype or maybe watched Game 5 of the ceastern onference finals closely, you may want to consider a change in goal.
Antero Nittymaki (G) may have been undervalued due to injuries and is only owned in 4% of yahoo leagues. Nittymaki looked strong in an OT loss to San Jose Saturday night and played well in an OT loss to the Pens last week. If Biron struggles and you are sporting a suspect number three goalie, Nittymaki may be the pickup you need.
