On Friday, I was able to see the Leafs battle the Devils at the third game in the Prudential Center.

The first two periods where very exciting as there were lots of scoring opportunities, although great goal tending kept the score tied at one going into the third.

I was somewhat impressed with the Leafs defense, it just so happened every time they over committed on offense they got a bad bounce they turned into a score for New Jersey.

John Madden’s shorthanded goal with only a few minutes remaining was the fatal blow to the leafs even though both teams were able to score again before time ran out.
