“Anything less than a gold medal is a disappointment,” said Team USA’s captain, Jeff Halpern.
There are a few teams competing in this year’s World Championships that share Halpern’s view, but only one team will win that ultimate prize, leaving many players to deal with the sting of failure. Two of those “gold or go home” teams are Canada and the US.
