Goaltending: A++++++++++++++

Fleury was simply spectacular. It was reminiscent of Game 5 against Detroit last year. I lost count of how many great saves he made. Sometimes, when you don’t play as well as you want, you need your goalie to steal one. That’s what Fleury did last night. That was as good as it gets.

My apologies for thr short post today, but I am pressed for time and am in training all day. But I thyink this grade told the story, right?

    Great post. Really, what else needs to be said? MAF was on peyote last night.

    However, if I may, I’d like to get out the red pen and grade:

    Petr Sykora: U
    For unsatisfactory, or perhaps more fittingly, unhealthy. The guy is not only snake-bitten, but he seems to be hurt. From what I’ve heard it is a shoulder injury. And if that is the case it goes a long way in explaining why his shot (and overall game) is way off right now. Poor fella.

    Banger I think you are right. So, if he’s hurt, sit him out and let Satan play. Poor guy!

    Great grades Mike :) And yes, it says just about how it went.

    I have to say tho, that it was good to see Gonch back on his game.

    Great pass by Kunitz to set up Sid’s goal.

    Great efforts by TK all round. Another goal for the kid. :)

    Let’s hope he doesn’t need to be that good to close out the series. Pens need to get back to playing their game. Possess the puck, forecheck & pressure.

    It is nice though to have MAF come thru when the rest of the game isn’t going as planned. Also nice of Lupul to point out that MAF was a little too far out, and sort of call him to the carpet. Nice response MAF, nice reponse!

    Fleury was simply fantastic all night.

    Expect Philly to crash the net hard and even run over Fluery a few times in game five. We all know they have that kind of mentality from the front office down to the stick boy.
