Nailers extend qualifying offers

The Wheeling Nailers have extended qualifying offers to eight of its players. Sean Collins, Andy Franck, Joe Guenther, Jon Smyth, Cody Blanshan, Josh Ciocco, Brendan Cook, and Jordan Cameron have all received qualifying offers. According to the rules each team can send offers to a maximum of eight players. These are players that have not be signed as of July 1st. Of the eight the maximum of veterans was four players. Also players that are on open qualifying offers can not be traded.
The offers are to remain open until August 1st. After this time the qualifying offer will become void and the team may sign the qualified player to any salary or take no further action. Teams that have extended qualifying offers to non-veteran players retain their rights for an additional season.
