The Fresno Falcons announced that they will be moving back “home” for the 2008-2009 season.

The team, which spent the previous four seasons in the brand new Save Mart Center will be moving back to Selland Arena. Both arenas are in Fresno.

The Falcons moved out of Selland Arena at the end of the 2002-03 season and moved to the Save Mart Center for the 2003-04 season. This move started the teams first year in the ECHL.

John Tull, Falcons CEO, said the team has enjoyed the Save Mart Center over the years; however the Selland Arena (downtown Fresno) is “home” to many people and memories associated with the hockey franchise.
