Elmira Jackals Acquire A Goaltender

The Elmira Jackals acquired goaltender Joel Martin from the Trenton Devils on Wednesday, giving up future considerations and financial considerations in the deal.
Martin went 12-15-2 in 32 appearances posting a 3.45 goals against average and a .904 save percentage. Martin went 0-2 in the playoffs but had a league leading save percentage of .963 and had a 1.08 GAA.
Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Steve Martinson appears to be very confident in Martin, saying that he is a strong goaltender and his game becomes increasingly better in the playoffs. Martinson also said that Martin’s accomplishments and statistics speak for themselves.
