On Monday the Wheeling Nailers announced that Jon Foster, Vin Hellemeyer and Chris Brooks all will be returning for a second season with the team this fall

Foster, who will begin his third professional season, scored 27 points (12+15) in 62 games during the 2006-07 season.

Hellemeyer started last year with Reading, then went on to Toledo, where he played only one game. He finally found his way to Wheeling last December and put up 15 points (8+7) in 46 games with the Nailers.

Brooks joined the Nailers as a rookie at the beginning of the 2006-07 season. Initially he was a defenseman, but was soon shifted to offense due to a round of injuries to his teammates. In 49 games, he managed just three assists.

New Face Added To The Mix
Rookie forward Garrett Winder has signed with the Nailers spending last season with the Heereveen Flyers in the Netherlands, where he recorded 23 points (13+10) and 49 penalty minutes in 26 games.

Winder played at Norwich University with former Nailer and current Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguin Kurtis McLean. Both players were on the NU team that won the Division III National Championship in 2003.
