The Rangers have gotten at least a point in their previous 13 games, winning ten of those contests. Conversely, the Sabres

have only one win in their last six games. The Rangers have pulled within three points of the lead in the East, but the

Sabres keep slipping down the standings.

Jarome Iginla and Alex Tanguay each had three point nights for the Flames, leading them to this lop sided win. Iginla posted

a goal and two assists, while Tanguay netted two goals and added an assist. Brad Boyes added two goals for the Blues in a

losing effort.

Vancouver Canucks 2 – Los Angeles Kings 1 OT
The first goal in this one was not scored until nearly halfway through the third period. The goal came off of the stick of

the Kings’ Patrick O’Sullivan. The Canucks managed to tie the score with under three minutes remaining on a backhander by

Van Kesler. LA’s Rob Blake took a penalty for interference a little over a minute later. The Kings were able to kill the

penalty, 30 seconds of which transferred into overtime. However, the Canucks scored only 16 seconds later to get the win.

Ryan Kesler got the game tying and game winning goals.
