Anaheim Ducks 1 – San Jose Sharks 2
Coming into the game, both teams were streaking. Anaheim had gone 7-2-1 in their previous 10, San Jose had gone 9-0-1. Joe Thornton got things started quick, scoring a goal 40 seconds into the game. Anaheim tied it up in the second, but they could not hang in there with the Sharks. The shots were very lop-sided in this one, 43 for the Sharks to 13 for the Ducks. It is also impossible for a team to comeback when they do not record a shot in the third period, which is what happened for the Ducks.

2 Shelley, SJ (0 G, 0 A, 0 P)
