San Jose Sharks vs. Calgary Flames
After falling behind 3-0 early in the first period, the Flames pulled Miikka Kiprusoff. They were able to score the next four goals to earn the comeback victory.

The Flyers got two first period goals; one from RJ Umberger and the other from Jeff Carter. Martin Biron made 24 saves to record the shutout. The series is now tied 1-1 with both teams headed to Philadelphia for Game 3.

Brandon Dubinsky scored twice for the Rangers, but it was not enough to prevent the Devils from getting the win. In overtime, John Madden centered a pass which hit Rangers defensman Marc Staal and ended up in the goal.

Three looked to be a very unlucky number for the Flames. They fell behind 3-0 at 3:33 of the first period. However, Curtis Joseph was substituted for Miikka Kiprusoff and kept the Sharks off the board for the rest of the game. The Flames scored four unanswered goals to earn the victory.
