Though Minnesota trailed for most of the game, they took advantage of a helpful bounce in overtime to get the victory. The Wild now lead the series 2-1.

Pittsburgh Penguins 4 – Ottawa Senators 1
The hometown crowd and return of Daniel Alfredsson were not enough to cool off the red-hot Penguins. Max Talbot scored his first career playoff goal in the second and Crosby, Staal, and Hossa all scored in the third period. Marc-Andre Fleury had another solid performance stopping 33 of 34 shots.

Nashville Predators 5 – Detroit Red Wings 3
Nashville took advantage of home ice and the return of David Legwand to get back into the series. Nashville tied the game at three at 16:03 of the third period. Jason Arnott would score nine seconds later to give the Predators the lead for good. Martin Erat added an empty netter to round off the box score.
