The Flyers are returning home after a dominant defensive performance on Sunday afternoon in which Martin Biron shut the door on the Capitals en route to evening the series at 1 game apiece. After blowing a 2 goal lead in game 1, the Flyers came out of the gate physical and in charge for game 2.

The onus is now on Washington to carry energy onto the ice away from home for the first time. Alexander Ovechkin will be looking to find his way back onto the scoresheet after getting shut down repeatedly by the Flyers defense and goaltender. Washington will heavily rely upon their speed and tenacity on the road. If they can take the crowd out of the game early, they may have a chance.

For Philadelphia, the path to victory is the same. Check Ovechkin and intimidate the Capitals. If they can take this game at home, they could put the Capitals in the corner and take a series momentum advantage in the series.
