Johan Franzen is quickly becoming a force for the Red Wings. He had a hat trick on Saturday to lead the Red Wings to the win and a 2-0 series lead. Franzen now has 5 goals and an assist in the first two games of the series. Chris Osgood continues his solid play, making 19 saves on 20 shots.

RJ Umberger scored twice and Martin Biron stopped 34 shots to give the Flyers the victory. The win evens the series 1-1 with the teams traveling to Philadelphia for Game 3. Game 3 will be played on Monday and will be an important game. Carey Price made 19 saves on 23 shots. The Canadiens did well to limit the Flyers shots, but Price could not come through with the saves when they needed them.
