Malone Injured
Ryan Malone suffered a broken nose while colliding with Nicklas Kronwall in Game One. He had his nose packed with gauze so that he could play in Game Two.

Therrien Cries Foul
According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, Michel Therrien believes that the reason for his team being shutout in Games One and Two is that the Red Wings are cheating. “They’re good at it. They’re pretty good at it. They’re really good at obstruction,” Therrien said.

Penguins Outdoor Theater Returns
The Penguins will show Games Three and Four outside Mellon Arena on the big screen again. They have done this throughout the playoffs and got many positive results.

Laraque Must be Steaming
“As disappointing as it is [to be scratched], if we win, it’s good,” Georges Laraque said to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “If you don’t play and you lose, it’s more frustrating. As long as it works and we win, I’ll be OK with it.” That being said, he must be furious that he did not play and the Penguins were handed their second straight loss.

The Divers Now Become the Divees
According to TSN, the Penguins feel that their two Goaltender Interference calls were caused by good acting from Chris Osgood. Michel Therrien, Petr Sykora, and Sidney Crosby all made comments regarding Osgood’s apparent dives in Game Two.
