Sydor Returns
Darryl Sydor will return to play his first game of this year’s playoffs and first game since March 31. He will replace rookie Kris Letang on the blueline and will be paired with Ryan Whitney.

With Our Powers Combined
The Penguins offense has been stagnant over the past two games. They have been shutout in both games by Chris Osgood and the Detroit Red Wings. They have also failed to produce many quality scoring chances. Michel Therrien plans to counteract that by playing Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin together more often in 5-on-5 situations.

Whiteouts Planned
Games 3 and 4 will be “whiteouts” at Mellon Arena. The Penguins will be handing out white shirts to the fans and asking them to wear them during the game.

Colby Returns
Colby Armstrong will return to Pittsburgh for tonight’s Game 3. He will be joining “hockey analysts Nick Kypreos, John Garrett and host Daren Millard” in breaking down the game.
