Career Projection
Viktor Ekbom, a two-way defenseman, began his professional career during the 2007-2008 season, playing in 9 games for Oskarshamn IK (Swe-1). In 2008-2009, he played 14 games for Linkoping HC (SEL) and had one assists, with 6 penalty minutes. The young no-risk defenseman finished the year back with Oskarshamn. He scored 6 points (2 goals, 4 assists) in 29 games played.  At this point, he is considered a long shot to make it in the NHL, but if he continues to develop his game, he could find himself on a bottom pairing.
