Career Projection
Johnson is a fearless player. He’s only of average size, but he absolutely has the grit and tenacity to play hockey in the NHL at some point in time. He shouldn’t be expected to be an offensive horse at that level, but he can provide solid offensive flow on any of the lower two lines, working hard along the wall and occasionally pinching into a top six role. He has the tools to be an effective bottom six NHL player, even if his offensive abilities are limited.  Look to see him in the NHL during the 2009-10 season at some point, even if only for a cup of coffee.

Strengths
Has average to above average speed…powerful wrist shot…very shifty and sneaky with the puck on his stick…will not be overwhelmed by the NHL theater…plays without fear…can put home the dirty goals close to the blue paint

Weaknesses
Will be generally limited offensively in the NHL...not very strong, physically…tends to sometimes drift in and out of relevance…

Achievements/Awards
Dartmouth College Rookie of the Year; 2004-2005
