Roberts Re-Re-Aggravates Ankle

Gary Roberts has been out since sustaining a broken leg and high ankle sprain on December 29. He has now been forced to stop skating after re-aggravating his ankle for the second time. This occured in New York on Tuesday.

He has long said that he wanted to return for the final five regular season games. That seems unlikely now, however, as that self-imposed goal will come about on Thursday.

Gary Roberts missing any playoff games is very unlikely. He is a warrior, especially during the playoffs. Even if he does not return during the regular season, look for him to be in the line-up for Game 1 of Round 1.
