The Pittsburgh Penguins are recognized as having the best logo in the NHL. That honor belongs to the Montreal Canadiens.
Their logo also doesn’t have the distinction of being labeled the worst ever. Definitely not a bad thing.
So, obviously, it lies somewhere in the middle, where it’s neither spectacular nor horrible.
Their center ice design, however, is not so forgettable.
Icethetics is holding a tournament to determine which team has the most aesthetically appealing design at center ice.
Suprisingly, the Penguins — thanks to hockey fans around the world — have plowed their way to the final round, beating the Minnesota Wild, Ottawa Senators, Chicago Blackhawks and San Jose Sharks.
Now, they are facing off against the Edmonton Oilers.
With just one day left to vote, the Penguins have a six percent lead — just under 150 more votes than their opponent.
Can they do it? Only time time tell, but your vote certainly wouldn’t hurt!

The San Jose Sharks basically copied the Penguins logo with the whole triangle design. They suck.
