The Pittsburgh Penguins seem to have fallen apart. They’ve lost three in a row and now must face even more injury challenges, as Sidney Crosby and Pascal Dupuis remain questionable, though hopefully only for the short-term. But the St. Louis Blues won’t feel much sorrow for the injury-plagued Penguins, as they have two players out for the season and three more — including two goaltenders — out temporarily. Tonight’s should be an interesting game, though, as Janne Pesonen will make his long-awaited debut in the NHL after being signed as a free agent out of Finland. The small winger likely will fill a scoring role on one of the top-two lines, though the official lineup for tonight’s game has not yet been made available. |

Pens website says that Dupuis is on IR so there’s Pesonen’s roster spot. It’ll be interesting to see how he plays and who he plays with. Pens say Sid still DTD and therefore questionable but not on IR.

Look its time for a change!!!! We cant wait until whitney and gonchar comeback. I hope the rumours are true about Kovalchuk!!! I would give up Staal, gologoski, and a first rounder for him. I know that we need to dump more salary to get under the cap. But we need some wingers that can score. Staal will never be what we want him to be. I believe he needs to be the main man to succeed. And as for Shanny he would come cheap and fit well with Malkin and Sykora!!!! We are missing some of the passion these two guys would bring. We need to do something now!!!

I have been a Pens fan since 1983. Have you not watched the games???? If it wasnt for our goaltending we would have been blown out in most games. Jordan Staal will not succeed stuck on the third line. He will get big money if he stays and I would not doubt if someone signed him to an offer sheet. If Atlanta is willing to let Kovalchuk go why not make the offer he is better and healthier than Gaborik!!!!
