Should have been 6-3 as Crosby’s goal was just that a goal. Since when does a goal get disallowed because of a defenseman knocking a player into his goalie. Clearly Sid tried to stop but the d man falling into his legs prevented that. Then earlier Zigomanis gets a penalty for get pushed into the goalie. Always weird stuff anymore from the refs.

I was furious with that call. I can MAYBE see them calling it no goal because they couldn’t visibly see when the puck went over the line, even though it was obvious it happened prior to the goal becoming dislodged. But to say it was no goal because Crosby was hit into the goalie is just plain moronic. The sad thing about it is that that decision came from the “War Garage,” as Mike Adams calls it. It’s good to know they can’t be trusted to know the rules, considering they probably are propping their desk with the rule book.
