| Inside The Game |
The Hurricanes are having a strong start to the season, playing
stingy defensively, while scoring plenty of goals. If they have
any weakness, it is their penalty killing, which sits at 80.6 percent,
or just .6 percent better than that of the Penguins. In order to
win the game, the Penguins must play a full 60 minutes of hockey,
something the team has struggled to do in its first five games.
Focal points for the Penguins should be puck possession, physical
dominance, and team defense.

| Prediction |
I hate to say it, but after Wednesday’s loss to the New Jersey
Devils, the Penguins could be in for a train wreck of a game. The
game was within reach, but a failure to play a full 60 minutes of
hockey, combined with atrocious officiating, led the Penguins to an
emotional loss that could carry over to the game against the Hurricanes.
Then again, it also could light a fire under the "underachieving"
Penguins.
Final score: 4-1, Penguins lose.
