| Inside The Game |
Rarely does a sports team dominate another team the way the Penguins
did against the Flyers last year. But this isn’t last year, and
this isn’t the same Flyers roster. Tonight marks the renewal of a
divisional and cross-state rivalry that is among the most intense and
entertaining in the NHL, and possibly all of sports.
The Flyers are coming off a 2-0 loss to the New York Rangers Monday,
while the Penguins are coming off a 5-0 victory over the New Jersey
Devils the same night. Both teams will be looking to build some
confidence tonight, as neither has shown consistency over the previous
few weeks. With the rivalry and the much-needed victory for both
team’s, tonight’s matchup could be one of the best of the season.
|
| Prediction |
Look for both teams to come out strong, using their offensive
mindsets to get on the board first. In what has the makings to be
a high-scoring, high-penalized affair, the game could be decided on
special teams, an area the Penguins clearly dominate.
Final score: 5-3, Penguins win.

Wow…Gonchar 30 PIM..that would be ok if he was at all aggressive…but most of these are dumb penalties that need to stop.

Aron, how true! How do you see the game coming out??? What’s your prognosis? Just curious.

BUSY day today — didn’t have time to proofread my story. I definitely need to be more careful though, as that kind of typo is unacceptable.
