Tonight, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Baby Penguins attempt to win the East Division Championship. After getting pummeled in the series opener, the Pens did some pummeling of their own, as they currently ride a 3-game winning streak.
The Baby Penguins hold a commanding 3-1 series lead, and could finish their rival Philadelphia Phantoms off at home tonight, at 7:05 EST.
The Penguins obtain an all-time record of 6-6 in game fives. The Penguins are also 11-6 when they have a chance to clinch a series.
It may sound like a broken record, but that is a good thing. D Alex Goligoski is 2nd in the AHL in with 14 points. F Tim Brent is 1st in the league with 16 points, and 1st in goals with 9.
D Ben Lovejoy has played outstanding defensively these playoffs, as he leads the team with a +11 rating.
Hopefully the Pens can take the series, and get back to watch for their parent Pittsburgh Penguins against the Philadelphia Flyers, who are also playing tonight.

Would be great to see the Baby Pens wrap it up and their parent club start of with a bang on the same night! Good luck to all the fellas down on the farm!
