The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Baby Penguins face the Portland Pirates today in game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals series at 4:05 EST. The series is tied at 1-1.

RW Jonathan Filewich is back from injury and has been cleared to play. Forwards Paul Bissonnette and Dennis Bonvie, among others were scratched for game 2 in which they lacked some much needed physical play. In game 2, the Penguins fell one-goal short of the Pirates and lost 3-2.

Today at 4:05, the Penguins play the Pirates in Portland and play away for the next three games (games 3, 4, and 5).

F Tim Brent is second in the AHL in points with 19, and leads the AHL in goals with 9.

D Alex Goligoski is third in the AHL in points with 15, and LW Chris Minard is second in the AHL with 8 goals.

G Mike McKenna will start in net for the Pirates, and G John Curry will start in net for the Baby Penguins.
