Summary

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Baby Penguins lose game 2 of the Calder Cup Finals to the Chicago Wolves by a final score of 4-2.  

Once again, the Baby Pens started off the game trailing and looking to come back. The Pens found themselves down 2-0 in the 1st and didn’t score a goal until the 3rd period.

The Wolves scored again to make it 3-0 in the 2nd period. The Pens only scoring would come late in the 3rd period.

D Mark Ardelan scored his 4th goal of the playoffs on a powerplay.

Just over a minute later, F Tim Brent netted his 12th goal of the post season on a powerplay.

The Wolves D Joel Kwiatkowski would score with the man advantage, making it 4-2, the final score.

D Alex Goligoski who is leading the AHL in total points scoring was called up to the parent Pittsburgh Penguins on emergency recall. Goligoski isn’t expected to miss any games with Wilkes-Barre, unless the Pens put on a scoring streak in the Stanley Cup Finals.
