Inside The Game
Today, the Pens travel to Hershey to take on the AHL’s best. The Bears.

Last night, the Bears pummeled the Syracuse Crunch 7-1, ending the Crunch’s AHL-recording breaking, 18 regular season game winning streak.

Hershey boasts the best record in the league, and that’s obvious – they haven’t lost yet. Five wins in five games.

They’re lead by center Keith Aucoin, who was named the Reebok/AHL Player of the Week. Chris Minard was a nominee for the award.

This game marks the beginning of a 7-game road trip.

John Curry could get the nod in net today depending on how his ankle feels. Machesney is expected to start for Hershey.
