| The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins return home to play the Albany
River Rats for the first time this season. Although Albany is one of the worst teams in the AHL points-wise, they haven’t lost a game in regulation in the past 7 games. Due to Chris Minard and Janne Pesonen’s promotions to the NHL, the Baby Pens have recalled winger Nick Johnson from the Wheeling Nailers. Paul Bissonnette has 9 fights in 9 games since his demotion from Pittsburgh. According to the Penguins Insider blog, he feels like he should fight every game. Defenseman Josef Melichar was recently sent down by the Carolina Hurricanes, and will be in the line-up for the Rats as well. Goaltender Adam Berkhoel will start in goal for the Penguins. |
