Haynes Named "Baby" Pens Assistant

Jonathan Bombulie is reporting the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have finished their search for an assistant coach to work with Todd Rierden.

Thirty-four year-old John Haynes, a Boston University graduate, will step in and begin his tenure in the AHL.

Hayne’s resume includes six seasons with the US National Development Program in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he coached rookie Brian Strait.
