The Penguins are doing their best to come together and try to pull themselves into a playoff spot. As strange as it is, D Ryan Lannon scored again, and the game-winning goal at that, to pot the game-winning goal as the Penguins win 4-2 against the Syracuse Crunch.
Here is the scoring summary:
1. SYR Goertzen, (3) (Frischmon, Sestito), 0:42
1. WBS Brent, (2) (Minard, James), 3:37 (PP)
1. SYR Lindstrom, (11) (MacKenzie, Picard), 5:42
2. WBS Wallace, (2) (Smith, Lovejoy), 10:14
3. WBS Lannon, (2) (Smith, Wallace), 9:20
3. WBS Taffe, (10) (Nasreddine), 14:30
The other notable scorer is WBS F Jeff Taffe with his 10th of the year. Considering this is the 21st point and the WBS franchise record is 31 in a season, Taffe is creating a lot of buzz with his scoring ability.
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins play the Hershey Bears on Saturday, December 1.
