Introducing the Faceoff Factor Q&A
Mike Adams | Faceoff Factor News
Jul 7, 02:51 PM | Hype this story!
Never let it be said that we would let a good idea go uncopied. John Buccigross has a Q&A (The Mother of All Mailbags). Dave Molinari sort of has a Q&A. Rob Rossi even has one. Bob Grove had one, but then the Pens decided him being a total homer really didn’t make for a good format. So we figured, why not us?
Why not us, indeed! Starting this week, we will answer YOUR burning questions. Ground rules are simple. Submit your questions before Monday evening. We will select the best of those and publish the column on Thursday. The questions can be about anything as long is it relates to hockey. They can be serious. They can be comical. They can be lead-ins to rants. Just no religion or politics, please. And please include your first name and your location.
To submit a question, just click here. If your question meets our demanding standards, otherwise known as minimal standards of decency, we will publish a response from one of the members of our staff.
So let the questions flow. The first installment will be this Thursday.
And, oh, by the way, we can promise you we’ll never use the sleep- inducing words, “the moderator of this forum.”

Hello,
Do you think signing Hossa to a one year deal may hurt Detroit in re-signing Free Agent Zetterberg next summer? Considering another year of salary inflation and Hossa driving up the market cost on proven goal scorers. Also, Johan Franzen will be an unrestricted FA next year and should be in line for a Malone type salary (4-5 Mil/yr). As we found out with Malone, good power forwards are hard to come by. Any ideas on any other good < 30 yr old UFA who will be on the open market next year? I can only think of Martin Havlat, the two Sedins and Erik Cole. Could be a thin group of free Agents, especially if the few available sign contract extensions.

Okay, so it’s pretty dead for hockey in July, but what about living room hockey, huh? Invest in the Wii stick out in stores now & score big…?
To quote Steve Tilley from the Calgary Sun when the Wii was first released: “How cool would it be to grab the Nintendo Wii’s motion-sensing controller like the handle of a hockey stick, miming wrist shots & one-timers & maybe the odd crippling cross-check…?”
Oh & don’t forget Steve, crippling, mom, dad, sis , bro & the family pets. =)
What are your feelings on this gizmo?
